Homeopathy Consultation Fees for Children
Thank you for considering homeopathic treatment for your child. The way I work is that I ask you to complete the pediatric questionnaire and e-mail it back to me. This will let me know that you are ready to schedule an initial consultation. The questionnaire facilitates the information gathering process, enables me to begin repertorizing your child’s case prior to seeing him or her, and frees us up to use our time together to explore the root causes of your child’s health problems in a deeper way. I only work with people in the United States. Here is the link to the questionnaire:
Prior to scheduling your initial consultation I would like to talk to you on the phone or via Skype, so that I can answer your questions, and ask you about treatments your child has already had.
The initial consultation by phone, Skype or in person
Level 1 Low difficulty level (up to 4 hours to make the prescription) $300
Level 2 Medium difficulty level (between 4 and 6 hours to make the prescription) $400
Level 3 High difficulty level (between 6 and 8 hours to make the prescription) $500
Follow up consultations by phone, Skype or in person
Level 1 Low difficulty level (up to 3 hours to make the prescription) $170
Level 2 Medium difficulty level (between 3 and 4 hours to make the prescription) $210
Level 3 High difficulty level (between 4 and 5 hours to make the prescription) $250
Note:The time I spend to work on the case includes time to review the questionnaire, make my analysis sheet, repertorize the case, take the case, prepare the remedy, write the letter with instructions and chart of symptoms for follow ups, e-mail, or mail the chart and remedy to the client, billing and recording all the information. The difficulty level will be assessed after I have completed my work and made the prescription. 80% of my clients fall into the level 1 category. For people where I need to work in excess of 8 hours for an initial consultation, and 5 hours for a follow up consultation to make a prescription, I reserve the right to charge more.
I request payment at the conclusion of your office, Skype or phone consultation by check or cash. I accept payment by credit card or Paypal as well with a 3% service charge. My preferred method of payment is check.
Additional Services Offered
Quick acute consult $100 for one hour, $160 for over an hour
This is available to clients who have already had an initial and follow up consultation. It is for emergency acute or trauma conditions where a thorough examination of the case is not necessary to make a prescription.
Internet consultation fee $50
This is for requests for advice over the internet where I have to examine the client’s chart to make a recommendation. This charge does not apply to clients on LM potencies, asking questions about whether to stop or start their bottles. It also does not apply to the two week progress report after taking the remedy, or when I request a progress report.
Fee for mailing remedy without an appointment $35
Budgeting for Homeopathy
Some people have asked me how many consultations will be needed in the first and subsequent years of treatment. Everyone is different, but I can give you averages. In the first year of treatment the average person schedules the initial consultation, plus one or two follow up consultations. People with many health issues may schedule three to four consultations in the first year of treatment. In the second year of treatment one or two consultations is average. I hope this helps you budget for homeopathy.
If my fees are high for you
I know that my fees are high for some people to afford. Here is a link to the Bay Area Homeopathic Association directory. Most of the homeopaths on this directory post their fees, and many of them have fees significantly lower than mine. I hope this helps you find a homeopath to work with that is affordable for you. I welcome your e-mail progress reports, but I do ask that you keep them brief and to the point. I spend 2 to 3 hours a day responding to e-mails. This cuts into the time I need to work with clients, and study my cases. Please write when you really need to. E-mail should not be a substitute for scheduling a consultation.
I am looking forward to meeting or talking to you on the phone and working with you to improve your health. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any other questions or concerns, or if you would like to schedule an appointment.
With best wishes for your health,
